Brian is a Chartered Surveyor with forty eight years’ experience within the building industry across the UK from quantity surveying through to comprehensive experience of twenty eight years as a managing director of a known and respected building conservation company winning the Hertfordshire Association of Architects Award for Conservation in 2011.

Brians skills have been honed during this period relating to estimating, valuations, cost reconciliations, management of sub-contractors, programming works, liaising with clients, architects & quantity surveyors, holistic project management and in-depth experience of managing a broad array of full time employees, (office through to trade based). This has been galvanized by attaining a Masters (MSc) in Building Conservation and lecturing to Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors on the subject of conservation.

Services have been rendered to organisations including: Diocese of St. Albans, East and North Herts NHS Trust, Hatfield House, Hertfordshire County Council, London Borough of Camden, National Trust Ashridge Estate, University of Hertfordshire and Welwyn Hatfield District Council.
